Teacher Gift
Our preferred gift for teachers at the end of the year is donating to a pool so the class can get them something really useful. C's class did that -- perfect. But then we also had C's speech teacher, and his reading teacher -- both have a world of patience when it comes to him -- and H's teacher. H had made this gift before, and was the one who said he wanted to give them this. But because his teacher is a male, we figured he might prefer something other than flowers. We painted the pots with chalkboard paint, included a couple pieces of chalk, added a copper sign that they wrote "thank you" on, and planted each with a rosemary and thyme plant. I think they liked them!
