Friday night was pizza night. It was the first time in awhile that I personally tried to make the crust. It turned out pretty good. We had burrata & basil, pepperoni & pickled jalapeno with honey, and burrata and cheese. Delicious.
Hudson was home for the weekend. We drove to Racine so he could meet the twins. Cannot believe they are already 3 months old.
Next we went for dinner at Three Brothers.
It's always so good, and just puts a smile on my face.
Sunday morning we took a long walk with Van.
This was an entire area of moss. Yay Spring!
We even spotted a blue bird. They are the cutest.
Before taking him to the airport, we stopped by the Milwaukee Public Market.
Had a little empanada snack.
As we were walking by St. Paul Fish Market, two seats opened up at the bar, so we also had some oysters.
On Monday, I took almost 4 year old Eowyn out on a field trip. It was my first very rainy excursion, but she was a trooper and just so happy to be out.
She's one I cannot stop thinking about. Her disclosures said she jumped the entire time during her assessment. I'm not a fan of that, and was a little leary taking her out because of that. She jumped up once to get my attention when I met her -- and that was it! She's also PG-10 -- small kids make her nervous. But oh my gosh, she completely won me over and is just such a love bug. I loved my time with her so much. Here she is waiting for her pup cup. She had to be resting her head on my arm or shoulder the entire time. I adore her.
Cole's kitchen is now stocked with some incredible Indian spices thanks to a project in his Asian Studies class. He spent hours making food for his prasada -- a Hindu religious offering. Pretty impressive. This was by far his favorite class of the semester.
Gretel chilling out after her most recent swimming session. They do have dryers, but she hates them, so came home wet this time.
