Milwaukee is the city of festivals, and one of my favorites is Bastille Days. Again, it's something I hadn't been to in years. In fact, I was reminding Melissa yesterday that the last time I was there, she and Leif broke the news that they were moving to Chicago and I was so excited since we were already living there. Which makes it about 16 years ago. Yikes. We met up with Ali and A and spent most of the time with them. H couldn't wait to try a crepe. C stuck with the blue moon ice cream. Très français. Not. Then Brian's sister, her family and my mother-in-law came. Unfortunately, by that time, the boys were done. Still, it was great seeing them.
