My friend and fellow blogger, Jen, came up with the idea to create an area blog resource. Here's her idea for Urban Fringe:"So often in conversations with parents, shop owners, and other residents, I am surprised to learn that we share not only a common locale, but a desire to write, share and learn. Maybe this can become a place where readers and bloggers learn about the diverse interests, expertise and humor in this urban suburban Chicago fringe community."
