Today's Italian adventure was Florence! I had only spent a couple hours in this town before, passing through when I backpacked after college. Wow, it's something. I tend to no enjoy the large cities quite as much, but I'm so glad we got there. Due to the size of the city and all wanting to do different things, we split up once we got there. We walked around, and Brian bought some menswear. We all met up at Mercato Centrale for lunch. Brian did a great job running around and picking up various food samplings. Our family even tried the fried tripe and anchovies. Delicious. After lunch, we split up again until it was time to head home. As we were walking around, we came across a street lined up with people eating sandwiches. We weren't hungry how could you pass it up? And so, we split a sandwich from All'antico Vinaio.  So good. That night we stayed in for dinner, which was perfect after our long wonderful day.
