Last night, we had a wonderful meal of dumplings and noodles at
Urban Belly with the
Elsmo's. We drove with the Elsmo's there and met Brian. On the way to the restaurant, we drove by
Margie's. (We lived in the neighborhood for a few months while we were rehabbing our house. We may have gone there
once a week once or twice during that time.) The boys and I were talking about how much we loved Margie's, and it was then, that Leif & Melissa mentioned how they had never been there. During dinner, we were talking about what a great evening it was, and looked at each other, and said, "Margie's." So off we went! We've all been so good eating after our holiday indulgences that I felt a wee bit guilty, but the splurge was so worth it. The Bucktown Sundae with vanilla ice cream, hot fudge (I ALWAYS get something with the hot fudge), marshmallow and banana is my personal favorite. Margie's can be a bit overwhelming -- it's pretty crowded, with people and stuff, if you haven't noticed from the photos. But if you haven't been, it's definitely something not miss.
