We are back from an excellent week-long vacation in the Northern Woods of Wisconsin with my parents, sister and her family. The weather was beautiful -- in the 70s -- so we had lots of lake time. We stayed on
Oxbow Lake, which turned out to be a beautiful area for swimming, tubing and fishing. We drove up Saturday, and met my parents and nephew. The others joined us the next day. We had absolutely no cell phone service, cable or internet. When is the last time that happened? It was completely strange at first, but felt great to be unplugged. I apologize in advance for the many vacation entries that are about to happen. Brian and I took over 400 pictures. We usually do a family vacation every two years, but it's been three since the last one. It was so nice to get to spend time together, and the week went way too fast.
