Brian and Pablove

bpablove2012

I was meaning write a bit about Brian's week on the Pablove ride. But once he got home, we were so excited he was back -- all of us were exhausted -- and a few days later, he had to leave again. This time, he's doing the Chattanooga to Nashville Ragnar Relay with work (they are one of their clients). In fact, he just called and said he ran his fasted 5 miles ever. His next leg is at 2 a.m. which is just crazy. He comes home Sunday afternoon, and is gone again on Monday. By the time he's back, he'll have been home four full days over the course of three weeks. The boys and I miss him, that's for sure.

The Pablove ride was absolutely amazing. The group that Brian rode with seemed to really get along great and have an excellent time. They were on some perfect roads, and some not so perfect. In fact, there was a long stretch of dirt they had to ride. I guess that's the interesting thing about riding a bike cross country -- no matter how much you plan, you really don't know what you'll be riding on until you get there. At one point, they even needed to get a security escort through a space center they weren't expecting to come across, and no where else to go. Over the week, the group rode on 600+ miles, and ended the emotional journey in New Orleans, which is Jo Ann's (Pablo's mom) hometown. And Brian made it! We are so very, very proud. Thank you again, for everyone's support. Brian could not have done this ride without it.
