Today my niece turned 13, which is kind of unbelievable. It seems like just yesterday we got the news that she was born! We were in the airport with my parents coming home from my cousin's wedding in North Carolina. To celebrate tonight, we feasted on crab legs, lobster, steak and birthday cake, of course. The boys were in heaven. I think she's going to have an excellent year.

I remember when a dinky and adorable toddler came to visit after Finn was born. Your niece was adorable then and looks like she is turning into an incredible young woman!
I remember that same airport trip! We left before the news arrived and didn't get it until we got home. I still think (even after three gorgeous babies of my own) that she was the most beautiful baby/toddler I've ever seen. Can't wait to see her all grown up - just a few more weeks!
