The boys still have a couple weeks until school starts. But all of a sudden, it seems that summer is slowly coming to an end. After C's last tennis lesson today, we spent some time on the lake. Normally when we go, there are a few people on the beach and by the time we leave, it's filled. Today, however, no one except some fishermen and we were there. The. Entire. Time. The water was so clear and still, we could even see the fish. In fact, the boys spent half of the time trying some "hillbilly handfishin'." No luck, by the way.
It was a beautiful, pretty much perfect afternoon. And of course, with one activity finishing, another starts. This afternoon the boys both had their first soccer practice. We are looking forward to a great season!
