It was a hot weekend. Brian and I decided to check out the Night Market on Friday evening which was being held at Nomad Nacional. He went back the next day to watch soccer matches while I’m hid in our basement seeking shelter from the crazy heat. All you lovers of this warm weather must have central AC. Personally, I go crazy!
Saturday was the Downer Classic bike races. It's just such a great atmosphere. We ran into friends and ended up watching the entire thing. Which, was a first for me. So fun.

This is how Milwaukee does summer! We met Scott at his house and rode down to Summerfest. It's been years, but riding a bike was definitely the way to do it. Especially on firework night. Plus, it was a perfect summer night.
We went to see Foster the People. Love these guys. Our friend Matt hooked us up big time, with access to the VIP deck and then right up front at the stage. It was amazing.
Stone Bank 4th of July parade. We missed last year, and were happy to be able to make out there this year. Had lunch with the family and did a little swimming before we came home early. Need to get ready for our next adventures!
