It's been awhile since we've been to Madison, and a visit to our state capitol seemed appropriate for M's last full day with us. Of course, once again, we picked the weekend of the art fair which meant the farmer's market was relocated and much smaller than usual. We still managed to pick up some cheese bread and beef jerky of course. One of these days we'll make it to the regular market though. After lunch at Graze, we walked up State Street to The Terrace at UW Madison and to stick our feet in Lake Mendota. Poor M is melting in our Wisconsin summer. Thank goodness it's not nearly as warm as last year. I'm not sure he would have made it. Once we got home, we spent the early evening in our local pool. It was another fun, full day.

Ah... the Art Fair on the Square. We still have several items we purchased there over the years. And, of course, the engagement ring -- Brandon proposed at AFS twenty-one years ago this weekend. And the fair weekend was always hellishly hot -- poor M!
