I cannot wait for Reg to be old enough to do this. I've resisted putting in a gas insert for years because I love the smell/taste of a wood fire. Until then, I wait for bed and burn one of those green logs. Only a year or so to go - maybe at Christmas?
oh i totally agree!! if we had a fire place in our house i would be all over that and we don't even have kids (unless you count our dog, which i do, but he couldn't hold a roasting stick)
