Today was
Columbus Day, which meant no school. So Nina came down for a visit. Between the unpredictable weather, and frequent extended visits to Florida, it gets harder for her to visit in the winter -- so this worked out perfect. She came down last night, and spent the day with the boys. I decided to also work from home today so she could leave a bit earlier than normal. We didn't see each other a whole lot, but did manage to sneak out for lunch at the
Sushi House. (H asked me to take a picture of his
bento box, seen above.) The boys love sushi, and Nina is a sushi novice. So, between H asking for octopus, and C ordering his favorite,
ikura, it was a treat for all of us.
