We started our day visiting teamLab Planets. Very cool. You were barefoot for some of it, so I was pretty glad we were early in the morning. But honestly, everything is so clean. Before you entered the "pool" area (yes, that's real water), you walked up a large area that sprayed your feet. We spent a couple hours there and by the time we left, it was packed. Next we walked over to The Toyosu Market. We had no idea that it was a national holiday (which might explain the early crowds of public bath being so busy) so the viewing area was closed, but we still got to stroll and enjoy some of the amazing food stalls. Brian and I had grilled oysters, plus he had two regular ones that were literally the size of my hand. The couple next to us from Hawaii ate probably six. I have no idea how. My one was enough. We also had some delicious sushi. Afterwards some more strolling and a trip to the flagship Uniqlo store, we came back to the hotel with all intention of going out again. Unfortunately, we really never made it. Our sleep is off (early to bed, early to rise) and we were exhausted. Plus we were so full from lunch that day. I think we both have a little Porto PTSD, and those oysters were intense. Brian crashed but I decided to try my luck out the hotel’s public bath again — success! It was beautiful, warm and just what was needed. When I came back we went to 7-Eleven. Brian couldn't even look at food, but I grabbed strawberries (in season, and so delicious - I'm so glad our flight attendant on the way over give us that tip), an egg salad sandwich (it's a thing! You need to) and we called it a night.
