Germany - Day 1
We are back from a most excellent vacation to Germany. The last time we visited, H was nearly 2, and I was pregnant with C. The boys were so excited about the journey, and for the most part, extremely well-behaved throughout. Of course, it always helps when you stay with friends and family. The first few days we stayed with my host-sister, Andrea, and her family in Wahlstedt. It was 23 years ago that I lived with her and her family -- and each time I see them, it's like I never left. Of course, by the time we landed, we were all pretty exhausted. We just stayed nearby their house, and took a little adventure walk in the woods. Their son was partially responsible for these awesome forts, and while we were there, some of his friends stopped by to work on their creations. H absolutely had a blast running through the woods and collecting moss to cover the tee pee. After wards, we walked a bit (to stay awake) and got some "Spaghetti Eis." Yum. Needless to say, we went to bed really early that night, and slept 15 hours. The time we spent in Germany went by so fast, and was so much fun. I can't wait to tell you more about it. But I have to go to bed now, and will post more tomorrow.
