We're back from the most amazing week celebrating the New Year in Folly Beach. This is our third time meeting up with the Frigs there. It was strange not having Hudson + Cole with, but instead, we got Leif + Mel! We were all so excited to show them around one of our favorite places. Brian and I drove the van, stopping the first night in Knoxville, TN. We hit the road early the next day so we could stop in Asheville, NC. We've driven by each journey, but never actually been able to spend any time there. The best part, is Leif + Mel had spent the night before there, so we met up with them for breakfast at Flour for the most delicious biscuits. Afterwards, we all went to Woolworth Walk, a huge art gallery with a bunch of different vendors. It even has the old restaurant, which is kind of fun. After a little time there, we all made our way to Folly Beach. The sunset was amazing as Brian and I drove in, so we stopped at Crosby's and to take it all in, and pick up some oysters. Not a day went by that we didn't have oysters on this trip. It was awesome. The Frigs had been spending the holidays visiting their families in the south, so they we already at the house when we all arrived. Mel stopped by the grocery store on the way in, and whipped up an incredible dinner. It just felt so great to be there, and know we were going to have a wonderful few days ahead.
