RV Adventure :: Day 6

{Tensleep, WY to Wapiti, WY :: 138 Miles}

Woke up, and drove to Cody. While part of the gang went shopping (my sister and her family), the rest of us visited the Buffalo Bill Historical Center. It was really very cool. On the way to the museum, we spotted a rafting company (River Runners), and decided to book a 1.5 hour family whitewater trip down the Shoshone River. Whitewater rafting is something I've always wanted to do, and am so glad we did. There were a few really great rapids, and we all had a blast. We tried to get into Yellowstone today, but everything was already booked. I'm glad we got to spend some time in Cody though. We are spending the night at the Yellowstone Valley Inn & RV Park surrounded by beautiful mountains and country. It's stunning here.
