Bastille Days starts today! It's my favorite little Milwaukee festival. And we were in an out within an hour ... perfect. H tried out the mint chocolate chip ice cream crepe. C settled on cookies and cream gelato (after he found out they didn't have his favorite flavor -- salted caramel). And both split a glass shaken lemonade. I'm sure it gets quite busy in the evening. Especially tonight, since there is a 5K Storm the Bastille run. But in the middle of the afternoon, it was nice and quiet. Just the way we like it.
