We had an incredible time in Minneapolis last weekend. We haven't been back since soccer season, and it was really nice just to have a weekend without plans. Brian and I arrived Friday night, and had a slumber party at Cole's place. He lives in a really nice 1-bedroom this year, so contributed a nice air mattress when he first moved in. It was so fun! The first night, we wandered over to Electric Fetus, then went to Kramarczuk's Sausage Co. for cabbage rolls and pierogis. So good. The next morning we got coffee then meet Cole at the Minneapolis Institute of Art. It's free, and right down the street from him. We were absolutely blown away. What an incredible space. Later, we met Finn and Rosie at Brit's to watch the Man U soccer game. It's so good getting to see them -- and to top it off, Man U won. After a little relaxation, we went to dinner at Hai Hai. I have a huge list of Minneapolis restaurants to check off, and that was one of them. Sunday morning, we walked to The Copper Hen for breakfast before it was time for Brian and I to drive back. Such a great visit.
