C had his very first Bar Mitzvah to attend on Saturday night. Of course I had to take a photograph! Handsome guy. He had SUCH a blast.
On Wednesday, there was a National School Walk-Out -- the mass protest calling for tighter gun control. I'm so proud of my boys and all the kids who participated. It's been a month since the deadly shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School. I honestly don't know what this country is thinking. If our kids can't even feel safe in their schools, shame, shame on us. Seriously. How many times is this going to happen? It just doesn't make sense.
