Yesterday was C's last soccer game of the year. Besides a week long soccer camp this summer, he'll have off for a couple months. He loves it so much, but it will be nice to have a little break. His team won both of their final games, and celebrated a fantastic year at the coach's house afterwards. I'm trying not to be too sad, but it's kind of the end of an era. For the first time in three years, C will have a new coach next year. I've also been lucky enough to be the team manager for the past couple years. Great coach. Great families. Lucky me. The U10 open house was last week, and some of the players are moving to different teams within the club next year too. It happens. But it really was a great year, and I'm sad to see it come to an end.
