Tonight from Illinois

This ... is happening 9 miles from our house. I have no interest in being there, but you can't help but feel the excitement. People on our quiet streets are sending off fireworks and shouting with joy. It looks like it's over.

(And now, I will say no more.)

It's A Good Day

Here's another photograph from Thatcher Woods. I love Fall. I think it's beautiful and romantic. (That being said, I hate what comes next. But let's not think of that yet.)

It's a good day. It's warm out (upper 60s). Mr. Pea comes home after eight days of being away (more on that later). And let's not forget, it's Election Day. The only thing that would make it better, in my opinion, is if this guy wins.

Look What I Did Today

Our Village Hall offers early voting, and I took advantage of that today. (I was multi-tasking during my lunch break and to get a little exercise, ran there, so don't mind this greasy photo of me.) Alas, my vote is in, and I couldn't be prouder.

Super Tuesday

Tomorrow is Super Tuesday! And I'm just saying ... go Obama.

World's Smallest Political Quiz

(Disclaimer: this is just to have fun with, and does not necessarily reflect actual beliefs.)

I was on goodyblog.com and came across a link to World's Smallest Political Quiz.  It's quick (key), and compares personal versus economic issues, then rates you on a grid versus a dividing line.  As I guessed, my outcome was centrist, leaning more liberal (especially regarding personal issues).  Go ahead, try it.
