First of all, let me just say how absolutely fortunate we feel to have gotten to get away for a few days. A change of scenery has never felt so good. It's been several years since we have escaped for a full week, and it especially felt like such a luxury during these crazy times. We all know we are ridiculously lucky.

We woke up bright and early (like, 2:30am early) to hit the road on December 27 for Folly Beach, SC. It's a 16 hour trip (with some quick stops), so we knew it would be a long day. Brian and H were the rock star drivers while C and I hung out in the back. H even took the mountains. We were lucky with great weather and an easy drive. We arrived in Folly Beach, unloaded, and met our friends The Frigs at Woody's Pizza. We were all exhausted, but so excited to see each other and bubble vacation for a week. (NOTE: we got rapid COVID tested beforehand and did our best to stay safe along the way in order to do this.)
