We woke up to a beautiful day. Perfect -- especially since today was the day for our surf lessons. Surfing is something I never really thought I'd ever do, but I was so excited to get to try it. The group met at Agua Tibia Surf School. The kids were whisked away and were surfing before we even made it into the water! Pretty exciting, especially since C wasn't even sure he was going to try it. All the instructors were incredible -- patient, calm and encouraging (and adorable). The morning flew by. It was an absolute blast. Brian and the boys did great. I'm certainly no expert, but was able to ride a few waves and sure had fun doing it. In fact, we surfed every single day afterwards. It was amazing and I already miss it.

In the evening, we rode our ATVs over to an abandoned fishing village for Mike & Kristyn's rehearsal dinner. Everything was stunning. The kids swam until dark, then we had a great dinner while listening to awesome music. Marcus, a local DJ, was also a guest, and really put together some great music for all of us. Lucky us! It was a great day.
