Last night was one of those nights when you just cannot believe what is happening to you. We met the owner of Brian's company at the airport -- along with a group of his friends (some who know my sister, as it turns out) -- where we boarded a private jet (!!!) and flew up to Green Bay to watch the Packers vs. Falcons game in a box suite (!!!). Can you even believe that last sentence? Me neither. It was insane. H&C have both been to the suite, but it was finally my turn. And it was amazing. The view was pretty perfect. There was food. And drinks. Brian Noble made an appearance to our box. The Packers won. And, we were home by midnight. The entire evening was such an incredible treat. Lucky us!

Packers Playoffs

The Green Bay Packers once again made it to the Superbowl playoffs this year, going up against the San Francisco 49ersLast year, Brian was able to score tickets from the owner of his company and took H. This year, he was lucky enough to get them again, and C got to be his guest. (One of these days it will finally be my turn, I hope.) The weather in Wisconsin is quite horrific, if you haven't heard, and the temperature dropped all day long. I can't believe how many crazy people were there who braved the conditions for hours on end. I'm 99.9% confident I would not have been one of them. C had an absolutely great time though (they even got primo parking, so he didn't have to be outside too long ...), and made friends with the woman in charge of the food in the suite, who hooked him up with popcorn, celery and hot chocolate all afternoon. The other exciting bit was who they were in the suite with. Brian noticed the bodyguards and security officers, but had no idea beforehand that they would be sharing high-fives with the Governor the entire game. Hilarious! No matter what your political opinion is (or ours, for that matter), you have to admit, watching the game with the Governor is a pretty cool experience. Green Bay ended up losing the game, 20-23. But what a fantastic day!

Packers ... In Style

The past week, Brian was in San Francisco for work. He came back Saturday, rushed home, where we met him after rushing home ourselves from H's futsal game, then he and H headed up to Green Bay to watch the Green Bay Packers vs. Minnesota Vikings game this weekend. They had an absolute blast. And check out their seats! Private box thanks to the owner of the company where Brian works. Sweet.

We loaded up the car this morning and headed to Green Bay for the boy's first ever Packer game. Actually, it was Brian's first time to Lambeau too. Dork alert -- the only other time I was there was when my high school marching band played a half time show. I had also been to a Green Bay Packer game with my dad and sister back when they would play at Milwaukee County Stadium (now Miller Park) a couple times a year. The boys were super excited to see a real live football game, especially H who is quite the football fan. We started the day by tailgating in the parking lot of a printing company outside of the stadium. After making our way to the stadium, we found our seats right in the nick of time time to be able to participate in a stunt thanking the veterans. It was pretty cool, actually. The day was perfect. Definitely a little coldness in the air, but the sun was shining. As a bonus, the Packers ended up beating the Arizona Cardinals 31 to 17.
