Here's one nice thing about it just being the two of us on this trip -- we finally made it to Frank Lloyd Wright's Taliesin. We have been wanting to do this trip for years but always get caught up just hanging out with our friends, and then rushing back since the first day of school is typically the next day. Last year, there was soccer practice. Anyhow, we made it happen this year, and I'm so glad we did. The landscape of the surrounding Driftless Region is gorgeous. The house is spectacular. There was some scandal and murders that happened at this residence which was a bit eery. But most of the furniture is still there, and the space is just breathtaking.
