Labor Day weekend was our annual Klassy Kamping trip with the Krew. It was nice and relaxing this year, but also very weird. It was our first with just the two of us, and we missed our boys like crazy. It's strange walking around the sites remembering when all the kids were so little, running around. The first day is never very eventful as the camper trickle in. Brian and I stopped in Madison for lunch and found a total gem of a place -- Ahan. It is Southeast Asian and pretty mind-blowing. I'm still dreaming of the Nam Khao Salad. We were so full, but of course had to try the Ube soft serve. Yum. After lunch, we made our way to the site. But first, a trip to the Walmart, of course. Typically, I'm not a fan, but there really is some great stuff. Just look at that marshmallow selection, for example. Finally, we made it to Governor Dodge and set up camp. We all brought our own dinners, and hung out by the campfires. It was a perfect evening for it, that's for sure.
