This was taken a couple of weeks ago. Cole sent this to me and I love it so much. Birthday dinner for Joris. Cole will be transferring colleges in the fall. He has made such great friends over the past couple years. His roommate from last year is the guy in the front left. This year front right. Our Thanksgiving guests are all represented. At least three of these guys aren't coming back next year. It's been a great couple of years.
Had dinner with my college roommate Irma and Greg. We make sure to do that at least a couple times each years. It's always so fun catching up with them, and thankfully, we already have another date on the calendar.
We went to a Japanese restaurant called Cute Robot. They had all taken a selfie in front of this guy - without me. So had to do my own.
Took this puppy out for a Field Trip on Monday. Goldie!
She was such an absolute sweetheart. She's 4 years old so didn't mind a few breaks here and there. Whenever I'd stop and sit down, she'd jump up next to me and plop down so I could rub her tummy. I also got a ton of kisses.
She was seriously adorable. I keep taking "Benchwarmers" out -- the dogs that have been there awhile. They are going to make such great pets for someone, but wouldn't do well in our house thank goodness (more because of Gretel than anything). Otherwise this one would have been coming home with me.
We moved Cole out of his dorm. JP is transferring next year as well. Excited for these guys and their new adventures. I hope Cole gets to visit him in Peru some day as well. How fun would that be?
When Cole was in 4th grade, he wrote a letter to his future self. It was hanging on his bulletin board all of these years. It was so sweet. Talking about our trip to Costa Rica, asking if he still plays soccer for Bavarians and if he still was friends with a couple kids. He ended the letter with this. Love it.
