Moments 07 22 :: Week 05

lastweek072922
We started our weekend by riding our bikes to the cutest popcycle pop-up. Pete's Pops, our favorite, has a little stand in the old theater.

Brian and I went to the Manchester City vs. Bayern Munich soccer game.

There were two rain/lightening delays, but they finally were able to play two 40-minute halves.

It was the first soccer game at Lambeau Field. There were over 78,000 in attendance.

City ended up winning 1-0.

This guy. What a love. He always needs to be where we are -- and in front of the oven is his favorite. Makes it hard to make pancakes, but you try telling him no. Those speckles get me all the time.

I'm generally not a fan of tomatoes, but cannot get enough in the summer. Look at these beauties from the farmer's market.

Yummy sake.

Brian and I have been riding our bikes to the lake most nights. Every night it's different. So pretty. I'm always amazed this is basically right in our back yard.

Cole went to St. Norbert soccer camp. This year he roomed with his friend and teammate.

It's only taken 8.5 years, but Gretel finally found her space to sleep at night. Next to our bed. For years, she slept in her kennel, as she was not to be trusted wandering alone at night. She was such a trouble maker! Once we started leaving her out, we'd find her lounging all over the house. Some nights it was the basement. Others the living room. For years she wouldn't even come upstairs (even though Storm slept upstairs), but then she started sleeping with Hudson. Once he left for college this year and wasn't home as much, she didn't know what to do! She tried snuggling with us, but she kind of takes up a ton of space and isn't super cuddly. We tried putting the bed in other places, but I guess we finally found one she likes. I'd say she looks pretty happy!

Hudson is home! For a couple weeks at least. He got home late last night, and this morning, left with Brian for the EAA AirVenture. Looks like they scored a pretty sweet spot for the weekend.
