Moments 02 23 :: Week 04

I was trying to get a photo of Gretel but got photobombed.

There she is. What a yucky week weather wise. At least the dogs loved the snow. 

Did 23.2 today. I didn't plan on doing all the burpee pull-ups but actually did them. May not have gotten far, but survived. Finished with a 120# thruster, so decided to do another after the workout and PRed with 130#. 

Moments 02 23 :: Week 03

Valentine's Day. We finally got to see each other after Cole's late night soccer practice. 

First workout of the CrossFit Open. These awesome ladies are doing it. I'm not officially. Still very fun, and they did great. 

Moments 02 23 :: Week 02

Hudson and the SLU Club Swim team were at Northwestern University for a meet. It was Brian's first time seeing him swim since high school, plus, he had some very special guests from Oak Park who came to cheer him on. what an amazing day. 

It was a gorgeous weekend and Brian hasn't been hunting much at all this year, so Van, Brian and I went out. 

Poor Gretel stayed home. It's just too much for Brian to do it all, especially since I'm just there for company. Van did really well though. It's so fun watching him in his element. 

It was signing day at Nicolet High School! Cole and the guy next to him are both going to North Central College (Caleb is going for wrestling), UW Lacrosse for tennis, Edgewood for volleyball and University of Jamestown (ND) for soccer. 

We are just so excited for Cole and the rest of the student athletes. Such an exciting time. 

Moments 02 23 :: Week 01

First week bringing our workouts to a different gym for awhile. First day was super weird, but I'm getting used to it -- and actually using it as an opportunity for a personal refresh, so that feels good. 

Can't get enough of the spring blooms. Especially since this week was brutal cold. Means there is a light at the end of the tunnel. 

Brian found a bunch of old polaroids, which has been a blast looking through. Sky Pilot, Zoe and Napoleon. Such a cute little crew.
