Thanksgiving 21

Some scenes from this year's Thanksgiving. Another one that was different from past years -- but we all had such a great time. We headed down to Oak Park and spent it with our friends. Being together felt so awesome. It's been a long time, especially since our kids are all older! Two have graduated college. Three are in college now - Minneapolis, St. Louis & New Orleans - two are in high school and one in middle school. We figured it had been two years since we last saw Finn! It happens. But that's what made this day and being together even more special. Dinner was amazing, of course. The company fantastic. The boys crashed at the Elsmos. We stayed with Chris & Penny. And we even got to enjoy a couple hours of annual Leftover Day. Such a great couple of days.

Hosted my annual Beautycounter party. Felt great to be able to do it in person again this year.

Another book finished. 

The dogs cheered on the Billikens soccer team. It worked! They moved on and play again this weekend. It's been super fun watching that team this year.

Hudson is home! For a few days at least. He sent this photo of Cole's school while he was flying over. 

Within 5 minutes of seeing each other. Some things never change. 

Quick visit and dinner with Grandma. 

On Thanksgiving morning, Brian, Cole & Hudson played in the Gravy Bowl at Bavarians. It's these kinds of traditions that make me super excited that Cole is back there. So fun.

Brian and I went to the Milwaukee Farmer's Market on Saturday. It moved to the Deer District and was outside through last weekend. 

We have such late falling leaves! This year seems to be lingering even longer than usual.

Cole had his soccer banquet. It really was such a great season.
